Biography
Lou Ferrigno is an American actor and retired professional bodybuilder. Born Louis Jude Ferrigno on 9 November 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, he won the IFBB Mr. America title and two consecutive IFBB Mr. Universe titles in the early 1970s. He appeared in the 1977 bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron.
As an actor, Ferrigno is known for portraying the title role in the CBS television series The Incredible Hulk (1977–1982). He voiced the Hulk in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk and had a cameo as a security guard. He also appeared in European fantasy films including Hercules (1983) and Sinbad of the Seven Seas (1989), and played himself in the sitcom The King of Queens (1998) and the comedy I Love You, Man (2009).
