Biography
Louise V. Say is a producer and director working in British television drama and factual programming. She began her career as a lieutenant in the Royal Navy before moving into theatre and making short documentaries, which led to a role in television production and directing.
In drama, she has served as producer on Shetland (from 2021, including seasons 6 and 7), co-producer on the miniseries Les Misérables (2018–2019) and Dracula (2020), and second unit director on those projects and Shetland. She has directed actors including Dominic West, Olivia Colman and David Oyelowo.
Her factual credits as director and producer include series such as How the Universe Works, Extreme Homes, Prison: First & Last 24 Hours and Air Ambulance ER. She is based in Glasgow and has over 25 years of experience in high-end drama and landmark documentaries.
