Biography
Lü Qi (also credited as Qi Lü, Lu Qi or 吕齐) is a Chinese actor born on 28 August 1925 in Shandong. He is a first-class actor with the Beijing People's Art Theatre and trained at the Nanjing National Drama School.
He is known for his supporting role as Master Guan in the film Farewell My Concubine (1993). Other credits include Editor Chen in the television series Stories of the Editorial Board (Bian ji bu de gu shi, 1991–1992) and Wu Tanji in Divorce (Li hun, 1993). He has appeared in numerous stage productions with the Beijing People's Art Theatre.
