Biography
Luciano Rossi (28 November 1934 – 29 May 2005) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in around 70 films between 1966 and 1987, often in supporting roles as bandits or criminals. Born in Rome, he trained at the Studio di Arti sceniche di Alessandro Fersen and began his career with uncredited parts before gaining notice in spaghetti westerns, sometimes credited as Lou Kamante, Edward G. Ross or Edwin G. Ross.
Rossi is known for his work in westerns such as Django (1966), Django, Prepare a Coffin (1968), Boot Hill (1969) and They Call Me Trinity (1970) as Timid, as well as later roles in polizieschi and horror films including Salon Kitty (1976), Crime Busters (1977) and City of the Living Dead (1980). He worked with directors including Sergio Corbucci, Umberto Lenzi and Bernardo Bertolucci.
