Biography
Lucille Meredith (1916–2004) was an American actress. Born Lucille Goldsmith in Elyria, Ohio, she was raised in Los Angeles, California, and began her screen career with an uncredited role in the 1944 film Song of Russia.
She appeared in numerous television series, including Columbo (as Lucy and Lady), Murder, She Wrote (Mrs Brindle), Night Court (Sylvia Fleckman) and Matlock (Judge Irene Sawyer across multiple episodes). Her film credits include They Live (1988) as the Female Interviewer, Banning (1967) and The War Between Men and Women (1972). She was married to writer-producer Roland Kibbee until his death in 1984.
