Biography
Lucy Prebble is a British playwright and screenwriter. She was born in Haslemere, Surrey, in 1980 and studied English at the University of Sheffield.
Her plays include The Sugar Syndrome (2003), which won the George Devine Award; ENRON (2010); The Effect (2012), winner of the Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Best New Play; and A Very Expensive Poison (2019).
For television she created Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2007–2011) and co-created I Hate Suzie (2020–2022) with Billie Piper. She served as a writer and executive producer on the HBO series Succession (2018–2023).
