Biography
Luis Carballar is a film editor. He is credited as one of the editors on Alejandro González Iñárritu's Amores Perros (2000), alongside the director and Fernando Pérez Unda. His subsequent credits include Crónicas (2004), Sin Nombre (2009), The Infiltrator (2016), Pelé: Birth of a Legend (2016), Charm City Kings (2020) and The Marksman (2021).
Carballar began his career editing commercials in Mexico City. He later worked on feature films there before relocating to Los Angeles, where he has continued editing both independent and studio productions.
