Biography
Luis Cuadrado was a Spanish cinematographer. Born in Toro, Zamora, he studied at the Official School of Cinematography in Madrid and began working in the Spanish film industry in the late 1950s.
He served as director of photography on films including The Hunt (1966), Peppermint Frappé (1967), What the Peeper Saw (1972), My Dearest Senorita (1972), Anna and the Wolves (1973) and The Spirit of the Beehive (1973). He collaborated frequently with directors Carlos Saura and Víctor Erice.
Cuadrado died in Madrid on 18 January 1980, aged 45.
