Biography
Lurene Tuttle was an American actress. She began her career in vaudeville and radio before moving into film and television.
Her film credits include Mrs. Chambers in Psycho (1960), as well as roles in Heaven Only Knows (1947), Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948), Don't Bother to Knock (1952), Niagara (1953) and Sweet Smell of Success (1957). She also appeared in Ma Barker's Killer Brood (1960) and Testament (1983).
On television, Tuttle had over 100 appearances between 1950 and 1986, including in The Twilight Zone (1959), I Love Lucy (1951), The Munsters (1964), I Dream of Jeannie (1965), Little House on the Prairie (1974) and Murder, She Wrote (1984).
