Biography
Lynsey Miller is a Scottish director and screenwriter. She holds a master's degree in English and history from Glasgow University and began her career in production roles before directing shorts and moving into television and film.
She has directed episodes of the series House of David (2025), Surface (2022), Anne Boleyn (2021), Deadwater Fell (2020), The Turkish Detective (2023) and Gangs of London (2020). Earlier credits include the television films Doing Money (2018) and The Boy with the Topknot (2017), and the children's drama Lizard Girl.
Miller is a BAFTA winner. Lizard Girl received a Children's BAFTA and the Japan Prize. Deadwater Fell and The Boy with the Topknot were BAFTA-nominated, while Doing Money won awards at several international film festivals.
