Biography
Madeleine Gavin is an American film editor and director. She has edited numerous narrative features and documentaries, including Nerve (2016), I Think We're Alone Now (2018), Luce (2019) and Captain America: Brave New World (2025).
Her editing work on the documentary Which Way Home (2009) earned her a News & Documentary Emmy nomination. She directed the documentaries City of Joy (2016) and Beyond Utopia (2023). Gavin holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MFA from New York University.
