Biography
Madeleine Gug (born Lucy Cathelin) was a French film editor. She began her career in 1938 and worked until 1969, often credited under the names Madeleine Cathelin and Madelèine Gug.
She edited The Wages of Fear (1953) and collaborated with director Henri-Georges Clouzot on Les Diaboliques (1955). Gug also worked frequently with Claude Autant-Lara and edited films including Lola Montès (1955), La Traversée de Paris (1956) and Two for the Road (1967).
She was married to film professional André Gug from 1939.
