Biography
Madeleine Sami is a New Zealand actress, director, comedian and musician. Born in Auckland in 1980, she began her career in theatre, starring in Toa Fraser's plays Bare (1998) and No 2.
She created, co-wrote and starred in the comedy series Super City. In film, Sami co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in The Breaker Upperers (2018) with Jackie van Beek. Her acting credits include roles in What We Do in the Shadows (2014), Slow West (2015) as Marimacho, Come to Daddy (2019) and Our Flag Means Death (2022).
