Biography
Madeline Brewer is an American actress. She was born on 1 May 1992 in Pitman, New Jersey, and trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.
Brewer made her television debut in a recurring role as Tricia Miller in the first season of Orange Is the New Black (2013). She has recurring roles in Hemlock Grove (2014–2015) and Grimm (2015–2016), and appeared in the Black Mirror episode "Men Against Fire" (2016). She played Janine Lindo in The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025) and Louise Flannery / Bronte in the fifth season of You (2025). Film roles include Cam (2018) and Hustlers (2019).
For The Handmaid's Tale, Brewer received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2021. She has also appeared on stage, including as Sally Bowles in a West End revival of Cabaret.
