Biography
Magda Teresa Wójcik, also credited as Magda Teresa Dąbrowska, was a Polish actress and theatre director. Born in Wilno (now Vilnius) in 1934, she graduated in mechanical engineering from the Łódź University of Technology and initially worked as an engineer before entering the performing arts.
She made her screen debut in the mid-1960s and appeared in films including Man of Marble (1977), in which she played an editor, and Matka Królów (1987), for which she received the Złote Lwy award for best actress. She co-founded Teatr Adekwatny in 1964 and was married to cinematographer Jerzy Wójcik. Wójcik died in Podkowa Leśna in 2011.
