Biography
Magnus Nordenhof Jønck is a Danish cinematographer. He was born in Copenhagen on 5 February 1976 and trained at the European Film College (1997–1998) and the National Danish Film School (2001–2005).
He has worked as director of photography on Danish and international productions including R (2010), A Hijacking (2012), A War (2015), Bridgend (2015), Lean on Pete (2017), Hold the Dark (2018), Copenhagen Cowboy (2023) and The Assessment (2025). He served as cinematographer on Her Private Hell (2026), directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. He has also contributed to television series such as The OA (2016).
Jønck has received awards including the Robert Award for Best Cinematography for R and a Tribeca Film Festival Jury Award for Bridgend.
