Biography

Małgorzata Obłoza, also credited as Małgorzata Kornacka, is a Polish costume designer born on 18 July 1953 in Warsaw. She graduated from Technikum Modelarskie and is a member of the Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich.

She is best known for her work on Krzysztof Kieślowski’s A Short Film About Killing (1988), A Short Film About Love (1988) and the Decalogue series (1989), including Decalogue V. Obłoza has contributed costumes to nearly eighty feature films, documentaries and television series, collaborating with directors including Sylwester Chęciński, Jacek Bromski and Radosław Piwowarski.
