Biography
Mahesh Jadu is an Australian actor and composer. He was born on 26 October 1982 in Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria, and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Of Indo-Mauritian heritage, he began his career as a composer for the Australian television series Byte Me before transitioning to acting.
Jadu is known for his role as Dr Doug Harris in the soap opera Neighbours (2010–2011) and as Ahmad in the Netflix series Marco Polo (2014–2016). He portrayed Vilgefortz of Roggeveen in The Witcher (2019–) and appeared in films including The Lovers (2013), I, Frankenstein (2014), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) and The Furnace (2020). He has also worked as a producer through his company Ākaasha Media.
