Biography

Maja Meschede is a costume designer. Her credits include Fury (2014), Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) and A Thousand Blows (2024–2026).

She has also designed costumes for Catherine the Great (2019), The Burning Girls (2023) and Intergalactic (2021). Earlier work includes assistant costume designer roles on Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Book Thief (2013) and Atomic Blonde (2017).

In 2026 she won a BAFTA TV Award for costume design on A Thousand Blows.
