Biography
Mak Tin-Shu is a Hong Kong screenwriter. He studied philosophy at King's College London and graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2008. He began working in the film industry in the mid-2000s and has written screenplays for numerous Hong Kong productions.
His credits include 14 Blades (2010), Kung Fu Jungle (2014), Trivisa (2016), Three (2016), Warriors of Future (2022), Detective vs. Sleuths (2022), Cesium Fallout (2024) and The Furious (2025). For Trivisa he shared the Best Original Screenplay award at the 53rd Golden Horse Awards and the Best Screenplay award at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards. He has also received Best Screenwriter honours from the Hong Kong Film Awards and Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards for other work.
