Biography
Makoto Kobori (1885–1957) was a Japanese actor. He was born in Tokyo and appeared in numerous Japanese films from the 1940s to the mid-1950s, primarily in supporting roles.
He is known for his performance as Kiichi Watanabe, Kanji's brother, in Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru (1952). Other credits include Furisode kyôjo (1952), in which he played Ieyasu Tokugawa, and Surônin makaritôru (1947).
