Biography
Malcolm Cooke was a British film editor and sound editor. Born on 23 June 1929 in Willesden, Middlesex, he began his career in the 1950s in sound editing roles on productions including Peeping Tom (1960). He transitioned to film editing in the late 1960s.
Cooke worked on numerous feature films, serving as editor on Far from the Madding Crowd (1967), Theatre of Blood (1973), Death on the Nile (1978), Flash Gordon (1980), Supergirl (1984) and King Kong Lives (1986). He also contributed to television projects in the 1990s. He died on 2 December 2008 in London.
