Biography
Malcolm Danare is an American actor born on 15 June 1962 in Los Angeles, California. He made his screen debut as Poteete in the 1983 film The Lords of Discipline.
Danare is known for his role as Dr. Mendel Craven in the 1998 film Godzilla and the subsequent animated series Godzilla: The Series (1998–2000). Other film credits include Christine (1983), Flashdance (1983), Heaven Help Us (1985), National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985), Popcorn (1991), Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) and Independence Day (1996). He had a recurring role as Ned Ostroff in the television series CSI: Miami (2004–2006).
He has also worked as a voice actor, including roles in Monster High and Ever After High, and wrote the play In Heat (2008).
