Biography
Malcolm Jameson was an American science fiction writer. A retired US Navy officer, he began publishing stories in the late 1930s and contributed more than seventy-five pieces to pulp magazines during the Golden Age of science fiction, including work in Astounding Science Fiction and Unknown.
His novella 'Blind Alley', first published in Unknown in 1943, provided the basis for the Twilight Zone episode 'Of Late I Think of Cliffordville', which aired in 1963. Jameson died in 1945; several of his stories, including the fix-up novel Bullard of the Space Patrol, appeared in book form after his death.
