Biography
Malte Grunert is a German film producer. He began his career in the 1990s, producing television series such as Auf Achse and films including Der blonde Affe and Die Rückkehr des Vaters. In 2009 he founded the production company Amusement Park, based in Berlin and Hamburg, with partners including Daniel Brühl.
Grunert has produced a number of international features, among them Perfect Sense (2011), A Most Wanted Man (2014), Land of Mine (2015), The Aftermath (2019) and All Quiet on the Western Front (2022). The latter, directed by Edward Berger, received nine Academy Award nominations and won seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film and Best Film Not in the English Language for Grunert.
