Biography

Manuel del Campo was a Mexican film editor who worked in Hollywood and British cinema. Born in Mexico City on 14 November 1913, he was educated at Clifton College in England and later served as a flight lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War.

His editing credits include No Highway in the Sky (1951), His Majesty O'Keefe (1954) and The Avengers (1961), on which he worked as supervising editor for 16 episodes between 1968 and 1969. He was married to the actress Mary Astor from 1936 until their divorce in 1941; they had one son.

Del Campo died in London on 16 February 1969.
