Biography
Mara Wilson is an American actress. Born on 24 July 1987 in Burbank, California, she began acting as a child after appearing in commercials. Her film debut was as Natalie Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire (1993).
She subsequently appeared in Miracle on 34th Street (1994) as Susan Walker, Matilda (1996) in the title role, A Simple Wish (1997) as Anabel Greening and Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000) as Lily Stone. After a hiatus, she returned to voice work in series including BoJack Horseman (2014) and Helluva Boss (2020).
Wilson attended Idyllwild Arts Academy and graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2009. She has also worked as a writer and playwright.
