Biography
Maral Baniadam (Persian: مارال بنیآدم) is an Iranian actress born on 20 September 1981 in Tehran. She began her career in theatre and completed acting training courses in Canada under the supervision of Mahtab Nasirpour.
Her film debut came as Kati in Asghar Farhadi's The Salesman (2016). She later appeared in Gisoum (2021) as Delbar, In the Arms of the Tree (2023) as Kimia, and Parvin (2024) as Parvin E'tesami. In 2024 she won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress at the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival for the latter role.
Baniadam has performed in stage productions including plays directed by Ali Sarabi.
