Biography
Marc Guggenheim (born 24 September 1970) is an American screenwriter, television producer, comic book writer and novelist. A native of Long Island, New York, he practised law in Boston before moving to California to pursue screenwriting. His first produced television work was an episode of The Practice (2001).
He wrote for Law & Order (2001–2004) as a writer and executive story editor, and later served as a producer on series including Jack & Bobby (2004–2005) and CSI: Miami (2005). With Greg Berlanti he co-created Eli Stone (2008–2009). Guggenheim co-developed and wrote extensively for Arrow (2012–2020) and DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016–2022), and wrote the screenplays for the feature films Green Lantern (2011) and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013). He has also written comics and novels, and directed an episode of Legends of Tomorrow.
