Biography
Marc Pye is a British television writer. He grew up in Liverpool and moved to Scotland in his late teens; he now lives in Glasgow.
He has written for numerous series including EastEnders, Holby City, The Bill, Waterloo Road, The Royal, Holby Blue, Echo Beach, River City, High Road and Fair City. He is best known for his work with Jimmy McGovern, writing the episode 'The Flasher' for series one of The Street (2006). He later contributed to McGovern's Moving On.
Pye has written the novels Lollipop and Rewire. His short films Baldy McBain, Last Legs and Instant Credit premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. He co-wrote the feature film Act of Grace (2008).
