Biography
Marcell Rév is a Hungarian cinematographer. He was born on 30 December 1984 in Budapest and studied cinematography at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest.
He is known for his work with directors Kornél Mundruczó on the films White God (2014) and Jupiter's Moon (2017), and with Sam Levinson on the HBO series Euphoria (2019–) and The Idol (2023), and the films Assassination Nation (2018) and Malcolm & Marie (2021). Other credits include Paterno (2018) and Fingernails (2023). In 2022 he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour) for an episode of Euphoria. He has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since December 2022.
