Biography
Marco Pérez is a Mexican actor and writer. Born on 17 March 1977 in Mexico City, he began his career in experimental theatre in Jalisco before moving to Mexico City, where he worked with director Martín Acosta.
Pérez made his screen debut as Ramiro in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Amores Perros (2000). He has appeared in films including Trade (2007), Desierto (2015) and Gloria (2014), for which he received the Ariel Award for Best Actor. His television credits include El Señor de los Cielos (2013–2017) and its spin-off El Chema (2016).
