Biography
Marek Losey is a British film and television director. He is the grandson of director Joseph Losey and the son of producer Gavrik Losey, making him the third generation of filmmakers in the Losey family.
Losey began his career as a runner and moved into directing through advertising before making his feature debut with The Hide (2008). His television work includes episodes of Vera (2015–2016), DCI Banks (2011), Silent Witness (2015), Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016), Stan Lee's Lucky Man (2017), Silverpoint (2022) and A Kind of Spark (2023–2024). He has received Royal Television Society awards for his drama directing.
