Biography
Margaret Whitmer, also credited as Margy Whitmer, is an American television producer. She graduated from Chatham College (now Chatham University) in 1974 with a degree in history.
Whitmer worked on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood from 1982 to 2001, serving as associate producer and later producer across 265 episodes. She has also contributed as a producer and curriculum consultant to Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, and produced the 2004 television film Fred Rogers: America's Favorite Neighbor.
She appeared as herself in the 2018 documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor?.
