Biography

Margot Grahame, born Margaret Clark, was an English actress. She was born on 20 February 1911 in Canterbury, Kent, and died on 1 January 1982 in London. Her family moved to South Africa when she was three; she began her stage career there after leaving school at 14 and made her London stage debut in 1927. Her screen debut came in 1930.

Grahame appeared in numerous British films in the early 1930s before signing a contract with RKO and working in Hollywood. She is noted for her role as Katie Madden in John Ford's The Informer (1935) and as Milady de Winter in The Three Musketeers (1935). Later credits include Bianca in The Crimson Pirate (1952). Her final screen appearance was in 1958.
