Biography
Maria Antonietta Beluzzi (26 July 1930 – 6 August 1997) was an Italian actress. Born in Bologna to a family of tailors, she was cast by Federico Fellini in an uncredited bit part in 8½ (1963) before appearing as the tobacconist in his Amarcord (1973).
She worked as a character actress in Italian films through the 1970s, including Di che segno sei? (1975, released in English as What's Your Sign?), in which she played Maria Vincenzoni, known as 'King Kong'. Her final screen role was in L'inquilina del piano di sopra (1978). She died in Bologna aged 67.
