Biography
Maria Manoella is a Brazilian actress and casting director. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1978, she was raised in São Paulo from the age of four and trained in theatre.
She made her film debut in Lara (2002) and has appeared in more than fifteen features, including The Invisible Woman (2009) as Vitória, The Clown (2011) as Garçonete do Bar do Tim, Invisible Life (2019) as Zélia, and I'm Still Here (2024) as Veroca. She has also worked extensively in television since 2006 and is a long-standing member of the theatre group Cemitério de Automóveis.
Manoella has also served as casting director on projects including Bury Your Dead (2024).
