Biography
Maria Mulhall is a Northern Irish producer. A native of Greencastle, she studied media and completed a film course in Prague. She began working in film and television around 2009 on the Game of Thrones pilot and subsequently held assistant director and casting roles on series including The Fall, Marcella and Game of Thrones, as well as films such as Grabbers (2012), Starred Up (2013), Morgan (2016) and Ordinary Love (2019).
After the pandemic she moved into production management and line producing. Her credits in these roles include God’s Creatures, the first series of Blue Lights, The Dry (2022–2024) and the feature Four Letters of Love (2024).
Mulhall produced the Channel 4 drama series Trespasses (2025), an adaptation of Louise Kennedy’s novel directed by Dawn Shadforth. She received a BAFTA nomination for the series in the Limited Drama category.
