Biography
Maria Strid is a Swedish costume designer and makeup artist. Born Anna Maria Strid in Malmö on 22 December 1954, she has worked in Swedish film and television since the 1970s.
She is credited as costume designer on Let the Right One In (2008), on which she also served as makeup designer. Other costume design credits include Mind the Gap (2007), Paradiset (2003), Hur som helst är han jävligt död (2000) and Vägen ut (1999). She has frequently combined costume and makeup roles on features and series such as Oskyldigt dömd (2008–2009) and 100 Code (2015).
Strid was nominated for a Guldbagge Award for Best Makeup for Dom över död man (2012).
