Biography

Marianne Wibberley is an American screenwriter and producer who works with her husband Cormac Wibberley as the screenwriting team The Wibberleys. They have collaborated since 1991 and sold their first screenplay in 1993. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning bachelor's and master's degrees in film, and the pair have taught screenwriting there.

Her film credits include the story for Bad Boys II (2003), the screenplay for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003) and the screenplay for National Treasure (2004). Other notable films are The 6th Day (2000), I Spy (2002), The Shaggy Dog (2006), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) and G-Force (2009). On television, she co-created, wrote for and executive produced Common Law (2012) and National Treasure: Edge of History (2022). Cormac's father was the author Leonard Wibberley.
