Biography
Maribeth Solomon is a Canadian composer and songwriter. Born on 23 June 1950 in Toronto, she has worked extensively in film and television, often in collaboration with her husband Micky Erbe under their company Mickymar Productions until his death in 2021.
Her credits include the series Schitt's Creek (2015–2020), for which she composed the music, and Earth: Final Conflict (1997–2002). She has also scored IMAX films such as Hubble 3D (2010), Under the Sea 3D (2009), Space Station 3D (2002) and A Beautiful Planet (2016), as well as Blackjack (1998). Solomon has received nominations for Genie, Emmy and Gemini awards, and has composed for video games including Sunless Sea and Sunless Skies.
