Biography
Marie Mosquini, also credited as Marie de Esy and Marie De Forest, was an American actress. She appeared in more than 200 silent films between 1917 and 1929, primarily short comedies produced by Hal Roach. She worked opposite Harold Lloyd, Snub Pollard and Stan Laurel, and played the role of Madame Gobin in 7th Heaven (1927). She is also credited in Safety Last! (1923).
Mosquini was born in Los Angeles, California, in December 1899 and died there on 21 February 1983. She was married to inventor Lee de Forest from 1930 until his death in 1961. After retiring from acting, she became a licensed amateur radio operator.
