Biography
Marilyn Nash was an American actress and casting director. She played The Girl in Charlie Chaplin’s Monsieur Verdoux (1947). While a student at the University of Arizona intending to study medicine, she met Chaplin in Los Angeles and was signed to a contract for the film.
Her only other screen acting credit was as Dr. Joan Lindsey in the science-fiction film Unknown World (1951). She also appeared in episodes of the television series Hopalong Cassidy (1952) and Medic (1955), and worked in stage roles. Later, based in Oroville, California, she served as a location casting director on films including The Klansman (1974), The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) and The Great Smokey Roadblock (1977). Nash died on 6 October 2011.
