Biography
Marina Foïs is a French actress. She was born on 21 January 1970 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine.
She began her career in comedy after being discovered in 1986 while performing in The School for Wives. She joined the troupe The Royal Imperial Green Rabbit Company, later known as Les Robins des Bois, and appeared in the Canal+ show La Grosse Émission in the late 1990s. Foïs transitioned to film in the early 2000s.
She is known for roles in Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (2002), RRRrrrr!!! (2004), 22 Bullets (2010), Polisse (2011), Daddy or Mommy (2015), Sink or Swim (2018), and The Beasts (2022) as Olga. In 2021 she hosted the 46th César Awards.
