Biography
Mario Grigorov is a Bulgarian-born film and television composer and concert pianist. A musical prodigy, he entered the Sofia Conservatory at the age of five and studied in Tehran, Vienna, Berlin and Sydney before turning eighteen.
He has lived for many years in the United States and now resides in London. Grigorov’s most prominent film work includes a long collaboration with director Lee Daniels on Shadowboxer (2005), Tennessee (2008), Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire (2009) and The Paperboy (2012). Other scores include Flowers in the Attic (2014), Petals on the Wind (2014) and Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance (2018). He co-wrote an original song with J. K. Rowling for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016).
