Biography
Mark Burg is an American film producer, manager and actor. He is the co-founder of Evolution Entertainment and, with partner Oren Koules, established the subsidiary Twisted Pictures to produce the Saw film series.
Burg graduated from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in 1981. He produced the original Saw (2004) after viewing a seven-minute teaser by writers Leigh Whannell and James Wan, and went on to produce subsequent entries in the franchise, including Saw X (2023). He has also produced the CBS television series Two and a Half Men.
