Biography
Mark Chappell is a British screenwriter and sitcom writer. His feature film credits include the screenplay for See How They Run (2022) and co-writing the screenplay and story for Is This Thing On? (2025) with Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett.
He has written for television series including Hustle (2004), A Young Doctor's Notebook (2012–2013), The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (2012–2016) and Cold Feet. He co-created the Netflix series Flaked (2016–2017) with Will Arnett. Chappell is from Gloucestershire and attended Marling School in Stroud.
