Biography
Mark Evans is a Welsh comedy writer, director and actor. Born on 3 November 1973 in Wrexham, he was raised there and studied Classics at the University of Cambridge, where he served as president of the Footlights.
His television writing credits include That Mitchell and Webb Look (2006–2010) and an episode of The Amazing World of Gumball (2015). He created the BBC Radio 4 series Bleak Expectations (2007–2012), which was adapted for television as The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff (2011). Other credits include Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and various radio and stage work.
