Biography
Mark Everest is a British television director. He began his career in commercials and promotions after art college, working freelance and then in the promotions department at Channel 4, where he made award-winning trailers and idents. In the mid-1990s he moved into programme-making as a documentary director, writing and directing for Discovery, National Geographic, Channel 4 and the BBC, and receiving two BAFTA nominations.
Everest transitioned to drama with the 2008 Torchwood episode Adrift. Subsequent credits include multiple episodes of Primeval (2009–2011, including as lead director on seasons 4 and 5), Law & Order: UK (2009–2011), Silent Witness, Wizards vs Aliens and later series such as The Level and Strike Back.
