Biography
Mark Rodgers was an American television writer and producer. Born in Nebraska on 16 March 1928, he began his career as a writer in the late 1950s, contributing to series including Alcoa Theatre, Lawman and Checkmate. He wrote episodes of Kojak (1973), including one teleplay, as well as Police Story, Wonder Woman (1975), T.J. Hooker (1982) and In the Heat of the Night.
Rodgers also worked as a producer on shows such as The F.B.I., The Quest, Wonder Woman and In the Heat of the Night. He created the series Joe Forrester (1975) and wrote for two Dirty Dozen television films released in 1987 and 1988. He died in California on 5 November 2006.
